No template. A measurement, then a plan.

Two level-7 gymnasts of the same age can need opposite things. A program that treats them the same is guessing on at least one of them.

Most athletes train. Few follow a structured development plan. Our work is getting your family out of the confusion and into clarity.

Most of the work is a conversation about what the numbers mean.

How it works

1. Assess

We measure sprint speed, jump height, strength for stage, and how your gymnast absorbs a landing. You see every number. So does she.

2. Train what the data says

The plan is built from your athlete's actual gaps, not from what an average player might need.

For most gymnasts that means posterior-chain strength, landing absorption, and the leg power that sets amplitude on vault and floor.

3. Re-measure

We test again on a schedule and put the before-and-after in front of you. Improvement is shown, not promised.

One system sits underneath every step — the Athlete Academy Standard™, expressed for gymnasts as our 5-Star Standard — milestones earned against measured numbers, never given for attendance.

One idea to keep: ask any program what it measured on day one. If the answer is nothing, the plan was written before your athlete walked in.

He trained me over thousands of miles, many different weight rooms, quarantines, limited equipment and no equipment, time zones, and a heavy travel schedule. I walked into spring and summer 2021 in the best physical shape possible.

What it has produced

My daughter was a young gymnast with big goals. We knew that to give her a chance at reaching them, she needed to add a strength and conditioning program to her training. We saw improvements in her strength, quickness and confidence — all so important in gymnastics — and I believe adding a strength program helped keep her healthy. Aaron created a challenging program but kept things fun.
Maggie KrobParent · daughter Greta, U.S. Gymnastics National Team
I came to Aaron to increase strength and fitness to help further an elite gymnastics career. What mattered most was a consistent conditioning routine and nutrition education — strength and power building, plus prehab and maintenance to keep my body feeling its best. He was able to modify and focus on what my individual needs were.

When I entered high school I went back to Aaron for more one-on-one training and an approach more unique to me, given the number of injuries I had sustained. He helped me modify exercises to best fit me as a recovering athlete, so I could keep strengthening the surrounding muscles while the injured ones healed. I was able to perform at my previous level of play from before those injuries.

Questions parents ask

Is this a substitute for gym training?

No. Never. Her gym develops the gymnastics; we develop the athlete the gymnastics runs on. We fit a small dose around her gym schedule — and in meet season, the dose eases.

What makes the plan individual?

It starts from your gymnast’s measured baselines — power, strength for stage, and landing control — and it changes when her re-test numbers change. Nothing is prescribed off a chart.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the right program for your athlete, so we discuss it directly rather than posting a menu. Contact us and you will get plain numbers and zero pressure.
